I am originally from Norfolk but moved out to CO for college and lived out there for the past 10 years. In 2000 I developed Severe Psoriasis & Psoriatic Arthritis which has really affected my life. I was a big time snowboarder(especially backcountry) and went snowboarding all over the Rocky Mountains but it can be very rough on the knees where my arthritis is the worst. In June of 2009, I moved back for health and family reasons and got back into surfing last summer and surfed all winter because I have to be snowboarding or surfing for my soul to survive. I am ripping up the shortboard for right now while my arthritic knees can handle it. Surfing is THE most therapeutic thing I can do for my overall health. Just thankful I am still able to surf.

I wish I had of known about that when at VB cause I would have volunteered.
