Upwelling at AI

    Got out for some dawn patrol at AI yesterday. Had two mil shorts on and rash guard. Turns out some south wind had blown surface water out and some seriously cold water upwelling had taken place. Was in for almost 2.5 hours and came out frozen. Temp must have dropped 10 degrees or more from Sunday.:eek:

    yep, that upwelling will get you.. Always keep an eye on that south current!

    Yeah, some bad upwelling this morning too. Water temp was good for a 3/2 but not trunks.
