I hate to be a hater, but that song sucks ass and the video is even worse. Just because they say "I wanna go surfing" does not make this an anthem for surfing, if you want to listen to real surf music, listen to **** Dale or The Ziggens

that song blows...it's in heavy rotation on sirius alt nation channel. hearing the title i was hoping for something punk rock...add to dale and the ziggens, los straitjackets.
it is not 'surf music,' but to me surf music is music i like to listen to before paddling out on a good swell,the Stones,the Who,and MP listened to Hendrix. Apparently some people like Jack Johnson,plus he surfs great. The Drums are a very talented 2010 version of 'new wave,' like the Talking Heads,Devo,Joy Division and Kraftwerk. It's good;I like it! But I see how it could be annoying and hated,too. Like the first time I saw the B-52's. Is 'Rock Lobster' surf music? Here comes a Bikini Whale!
