Got two new sticks on order One is a 5-6 round nose fish (very simlar to the ...lost RNF . Its a 5 fin conversion deal. The other is a 5-9 similar to a white diamond, with a diamond tail. It too is a 5 fin conversion. I currently ride the Simon s25 medium FCS fin in my boards. I am 150lbs Didnt know if the stretch glass flex quad set is any good, trying to stay under $50. ANyone know if you can buy just the back two simon quad trailing fins and if the front fins on this set is the same as the thruster set?
I'm trying to get my grubby hands on a set of Stretch fins myself, so I can't comment on their performance...yet. I'm pretty sure that the front fins on the Simon quads are the same as the fronts on the thrusters (as I think all quads and thrusters of the same name/style use the same front fins). You can double check the FCS website. They list all of the dimension of all of their fins (they recently updated their site too). Most shops should be able to get you just the rear fins. I've seen some websites offer single "replacement" fins as well.
fcs site fcs site was down today when i wnet to the quad set deal. I was hoping somoen was in the know. I may just have to call a shop here locally and see what the deal is. Thanks
