    Hello All,
Just got back from Deployment and stumbled on this site. Just introducing myself. Currently riding a 7'6 . Looking into WRV nugget or Biscuit.. heard they are somewhat similiar.

Nice, I was on the Kitty Hawk back in the day.

I've got a few boards to sell, but not sure if they're up your alley.

6'5" Flyer - Professionally repaired delam on deck -
    &
    6'6" Line-up Thruster - new (clark foam)

Good to see another squid around.

looking into something smaller just to ride something different.. Been looking at WRV's Nugget and Rockfish. Im in Va. Beach and looking for a good Virginia short board. I looked at the Flyer because allot of the info said it was built for smaller waves but haven't been able to find any real reviews on how it rides. What area are you in ?? Haven't been called a squid since Bahrain by a couple of bootcamp Marines..hahah. gatta love newbies no matter what the branch,, they're soo gung-ho'.

Pictures of your two boards you mentioned ??

hey dude, i have a flyer and i love it. it works really well on smaller days, but better on days that are small but still have a little bit of steepness rather than mushy windblown chop. ive been looking into the nugget type shapes both by WRV and CI's biscuit and they look really fun. they seem like they would be great for typical east coast waves and would help with you stepping down from such a bigger board since they have some more volume to them. by the way im 5'8" 140lbs and ride a 5'9" Flyer, if i got a biscuit id probably get a 5'4" i would think.

Ive read up on the Flyer and was deffinitly interested. Just like the specs and things better on the biscuit/ Nugget. ect. The waves I normally get to ride are wind-blown chop. So I would probably srick with at least 6' board. How was the pricing on your flyer? I know Merricks are very expensive.

I actually bought my flyer used at a pawn shop haha. i got it for $85 i talked the guy down from $175 i knew he wanted to get rid of it and the thing had about 12 dings, cracked nose, missing fin, cracked fin plug and some delamination. i thought if i could get it for cheap maybe i could fix it up and make it solid so i did. its ugly as hell but rides great haha but yeah Merricks are a lot new, actually most new boards are expensive i always buy used just to save some cash. takes a lot of shopping around though to find something you like but sometimes you get lucky like i did
