closing hatteras?

    just wanted to see if any of the southerners on this site had some more info regarding the "Save Hatteras" campaign. http://www.savehatteras.com/

    In short, looks like some organizations are lobbying for the close of or limited access to oregon inlet, ocrakoke and cape point.

    I don't venture down to hatteras that often but would hate to see it closed...

    Its true, they have been trying to do it for a while...............while I am all for saving our environment in certian ways, these are just environmentalist and political idiots with too much time on their hands. At least sign the petition man!

    i love the environment and it is important but if you can't access it no one can enjoy it, KEEP HATTERAS OPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
