Motion what time did you surf there? It was really weird, early in the morning shoulder+ sets, later towards late morning hard northeast windd and waist high, after that head high and cleaned up w/ many closeouts, then it dropped in size towards mid afternoon.

Yeah definitely gotta pick the right spot for this swell. I checked out like 5 spots between SH to Deal and it was all completely flat. I started driving south and chcked periodically and it just got better and better. I ended up going out in Belmar, some good head high sets coming in but real choppy and a lot of kooks out that you had to dodge. Tomorrow should be sick though

was it lined up in belmar or just closeout walls? that's going to be my first stop tomorrow morning and just head S from there. not even going to check in lb/deal. the ankle high waves that were coming in even if they were big would not be ideal to surf

fun day in maryland. a few overhead bombs moved through. lots of closeouts too but got some great rides by being patient with wave selection. You definitely have to play the tides right. Wish you all the best for tomorrow!

Overhead bombs? Ok....guess everyone missed those. All I know is that when I go out on the deck at 5:30am and see what I saw this am they may hear me screaming madness in Salisbury.

This is why there is a southjersey vs. north jersey!!! Sorry guys, that's just the way the swell breaks!
