Anyone surf holden this morning?? Was nice and clean until about 11. Swellinfo called it perfect this time. Occasional 1-3ft overhead sets by 10 or 11.
Wow Holy Holden Beach! How fun was that?!? It's been a looooooooooooooooooong time since we've had that kind of size, consistency and shape around here. Crazy, long fast walls. Whew. My arms feel like they're about to fall off. To all those who scored this morning, I'm glad to have shared an amazing session with you all. What a fun time! Thanks, Earl! Thanks!
is that pic of the place that "off the chain" or the place that got skunked? It looks kind of like it could be either one.
Earl The NMB shots in here dont do it justice, hopefully someone shows up with better pics. It was every bit as big as the holden pics, dudes from FL and Folly were there around 6-7pm chasing the wave north. Said although not as big, was way cleaner than Folly. Kid from Orange County, CA was even complimenting it. Im not lying...
lol, NMB wasnt nearly as big as holden man. holden was absolutely firing. best i've seen anywhere from jax up to obx break ever.
North Myrtle ***** was NOT firing!!!! AT ALL! a head high peak that mushes out and barely provides a wall is not firing. or hardly considered breaking. You can best believe that there were 75 kooks in the water at 64 north though! from south to north, Myrtle serves up some of the gnarliest ankle slappers and shortest, laughable rides on earth... fo sho! It just confirms that no matter what,..... cat 3, 4, 5 hurricane one mile off the coast, or 500 miles off the coast, myrtle beach will leave you heart broken and wishing you were born of another mother in a land far far away.... or just wishing that you were dead(if you dont have any means of transportation)
