Yea holden beach was off the hook, but there were other places close by too. Ocean Isle pier was firing at 6-10 foot occasional bigger. Only the strongest surfers could get out...100 people sittin on the beach watching. Sets were breaking 50 yards PAST the pier between 3 and 5 pm. For a second I thought I was in Costa Rica. Thank you Earl for one of the best swells in the last 10 years.
Holden, what about Bald Head? Does anyone know if the south facing beach at Bald Head breaks on those condition? It must. Anyone believing Holden, or anywhere, was 12 -15' are dreaming. You need to get out and travel more son!
