Was too young to surf it in the 80s but it was the best I've seen it in a while. This am was decent. Some chest high sets rolling through.......now on the workday

CM was fun in the Am at povery too . this afternoon I went to NWW and it was Firing !!!! Guys getting tubed left and right and some heavy bombs coming threw
Make me wish I surfed there instead of OCNJ. But I was on the move and hada work . Soda is golden this time of year. Wildwood was going off today OH today guys getting worked left and right . Dudes shooting on the rocks and the sea wall was packed with on lookers. No alot of 3 monthers out today
Don't know if it will ever break like that again... Guys used to come from Wildwood to get on it because it was the only spot that could hold a swell when it got big. The Cove didn't exist, and the other spots, like Steger's, Stockton, and Backyard would be just out of control. Remember???
Yeah The Cove Didnt start "breaking" til sometime after Hurricane Gloria. If the pumped out all that sand they put there at Poverty it would break that way agian.
If you guys are talking about friday sept. 3rd was firing at pov. Hubb and a few other professionals were out there ripping. Totally put cape may on a different level. sickest session ive ever had by far.
