yeah, but you have to walk down to the beach with the phone in your hand and look at the ocean for it to work.

sorry, no blackberry app right now. Working on finishing up the Android app.

Android and iPhone are most highly in demand right now. If blackberry stays popular, then we may have to roll out an app for that down the line.

Jeez, I thought last time this topic came up everyone was asking for a Blackberry App and a year later I am still waiting.

    how spoiled are you?

this is the kind of thing that is wrong with america / the world.

There is a website, on the majestic interweb, that magically takes random data from all over and combines it into a 6 day surf forecast. Now, no matter how much of a lazy kook you are, you can know a week in advance to prepare your port-a-crowd and pack half of what you own into that huge suv of yours to go sh!t all over someones local beach. Now you want an app for this? eat a 8===>

You probably also hate the invention of the wheel. Not only do you hate the fact that there are sights out there to "predict" swell but you go as far as creating a user name and password.

so let me get this straight instead of refusing to use a site that goes against your moral code you do the opposite... you are on swellinfo all day waiting for the next forecast... reading all the forums and participating in them while getting angry at the fact that people, who use their phones more than a desktop computer, want an application to improve the quality of their experience on this majestic website.

are you still listening to cassettes on your walkman? Congratulations you're an idiot.

whoa whoa lanticsurf, calm down. While i did indirectly tell you to eat a 8===>, there is no need to go calling me an idiot. I just like to get on here and stir up the pot from time to time. My post was based on this: (watch it through, its funny)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8r1CZTLk-Gk

and on watching all of the iphone tools who now have apps in place of social skills.

    So hostile!

But LeeTheStud, you are an idiot.

A guy makes a simple suggestion and you have a hernia all over a forum on the same majestic interweb that led to your original sh*t hemorrhage.

Now I know you're saying you like to stir up the pot and such. But I think you're that guy in the water who likes to TALK LOUDLY to your buddy that's 2 feet away in secret surf lingo to let everyone know who the cool guy is. Maybe a little "Slates" or perhaps "AI" ?Or even an occasional "Dingo" "Parko" Marco Polo combo?

Telling someone to eat a weiner isn't very nice. But lovely attempt with the youtube video, meatball.

Have fun being angry about surfing.

    1. I was speaking at the subject, not necessarily the originator of the thread, or you.
    2. stirring the pot keeps these posts entertaining. I used to take this place seriously, but now i dont, and it probably shows. For that, and that only, I apologize.
    3. this is where you are overstepping a bit... you know nothing of my surfing or my friends. Sure we chat, but its usually about how raw you are. We analyze your style and discuss it, like "ahhh man, did you see how hard that guy just ate sh!t!?!" and "was that a frontside pigdog?"... and of course "is that guy really riding a pink soft top?"
    4. eat a wiener. Better yet, eat your blackberry.
    5. I love meatballs, but beef only, none of that ground turkey crap. Ground turkey is gross. Im going to tell myself that you called me a beef meatball to save myself some grief.
    6. my illusion of anger has in turn made you actually angry, hence my productive pot stirring. Score 1 for the stud.

Just to get this back on topic. I'd like to see a blackberry app or a mobile version of this site since a blackberry is going to be my next phone.

You have to realize unless someone arbitrarily wants to make one, this is something Swellinfo has to do. You also have to realize, Droid and Iphone are the leading markets right now so why wouldn't they get done first?

    Patience.

The solution here is obvious; everyone just get an iPhone since they're the best phones ever. :D
