Ding Repair Question

    Fixing the rail on my board, how much Qcell compared to resin (Ding all kit... i lost the cover with directions).

    Hurry im getting ancy

    Generally, I mix 50/50 by volume. However, if you are filling a larger hole I'd use more q-cell. You didn't say where on the rail your ding is but you should probably laminate some glass over the repair, after you fill it and sand it smooth.

    You can keep adding q-cell to the mix until you get a paste texture if you like, you really can't add too much. You better hurry though cause surf is coming................:D

    50/50's about right. Should look like elmer's glue when you get the consistency right. If you never worked with it before, it's ok to over fill it because it files down super easy and doesn't take much time at all to get any major chunks out. I wish I could simply just fix a board with that stuff. The crap is awesome.

    Okay, thanks for the advice, it did look like elmers glue, but i forgot to put the hardner in like a dumbass. gonna give it a try later. Its on my fish.. not gonna use it on this swell, its too slow
