Got off work and tried to get a session in. Nothing much yet, and right about that time the tide was filling in... you know how that goes in VB.

i surfed sandbridge from about 1:30 til 4 yesterday, then north end from 6 until dark. It had already gone onshore for both sessions, but the rights were SICK. Ramps everywhere. Checked at daybreak this morning and went back to sleep for 2 hours. These winds are a damn shame.

I drove through Croatan and southward and checked for a decent spot... but the winds have picked up since mid-morning. It looks really junky and textured. I really don't mind this, but with the peak of the swell happening on a weekend, the cleaner days will fall during the work week, which just sucks.

I'll have to agree SNJ was that place to be today . NWW was the biggest I have seen in a long time. OH sets , Chest to Head average. It was pretty sweet.

Not surprisingly, CM was smaller this afternoon. At least chest to shoulder on the sets, but high tide killed it. The winds cooperated all day.

Where i surfed was extremely fun this afternoon. bigger than i though it was going to be (probably around head). Some walled sections but if you got the right one the lefts and rights were awesome. super light winds and even a window where it was offshore. Cant complain at all. syked

i got to the beach when the winds were at their peak so it was super fkn rough and choppy. I surfed 711 for about 2 or 3 hours and spend more than half the time duck diving sets but got a few good rides

Friday was fun in the obx. Yesterday, not worth paddling out. Same story this morning when I left. But I just got back from a fun little session in Va beach. It's not firing, but the wind is super light and with patience the sections are there.

Soo much fun. Waves were steep and hollow! Worst wipeout in my life too, got launched off the top of a head high wave and slammed my head, surprised I don't have a concussion :D
