Such a ****in joke. I get up at 6:30 to check the surf and it's still lumpy and not really working, whatever I have work til 4 and the winds will be offshore all day. Im sure I'll be able to find some good surf in the afternoon. Less then 20 minutes after 4 before I can even find a spot to surf the winds go NE. Northeast? after all the reports and forecasts saying west northwest winds all day the winds go northeast. I really give up. I havent gotten one decent session from tropical swell since Colin.

Yea man, you should check some more spots. I had a nice session this morning before work, 6:15-7:30 in south monmouth cty. It was mostly wind swell, not too much long period stuff, but was still super fun.

thats weird. prob the incoming swell just took a little longer to arrive. it was stomach sets in bayhead around 830am and soon jacked up around 10-11am to chest/head high for the bigger sets. great day. sorry ya had work.

ya dude.. use other websites for wind (such as weather.com hourly forecast) just to make sure.. also check a few spots.. with these storms ive found very different conditions within a few miles of eachother from md to de sometimes one being better than the other.. put some effort in and you should be good.. ive gotten really good waves from all the storms

    Keep the faith

Keep the faith brotha, I know it sucks. I missed the entire second half of last year's hurricane season thanks to the US Navy, so I feel the pain...there will be a few more I bet. If not, book a ticket to HI or Norcal this winter, and you're all but guaranteed to get some big stuff.

I need a break for a bit. Last couple of hurricanes haven't really lined up that well where I am apparently. The sand is all messed up. Everything is too shallow, closing down, and the back wash is terrible. I just want to do some turns.
