Hey everyone! New to the surfing world here in Florida. I found a great shaper in Hialeah who made me an awesome 7'6" fun board. Check out his website at: www.rubiosurfboards.com. You can see my board at the very bottom of the surfboard gallery (it's the red/black one). I took my board out on Deerfield Beach this afternoon. I hit a couple waves but then the wind picked up and it got choppy as hell. I couldn't paddle the board against the current anymore so I came back to shore. Any advice for a new surfer? Is the surf around the Jupiter area that much better than the surf here in Deerfield Beach?
Red Reef I usually surf Red Reef park its further north then Deerfield but not much. Good call getting a fun shape. I hardly get to use my shorty. How you liking NSU? I'm in law school there : )
It's ok. I am a third year pharmacy student. I'm just ready for classes to be over forever. I've been in school for 10 years. I'll have to check out Red Reef Park sometime.
