Good movie, but not great. Went to the premiere at house of blues and walked away slightly disappointed. Definately some top notch surfing (see Gesler), but the way it was strung together was average. Felt like it was missing something. But hey its an NJ surf film with NJ surfers and NJ music worth 20 bucks from me. Side note, if you haven't seen A Pleasant Suprise find yourself a copy, that is the best NJ surf film.
Yeah doesn't seem to be a lot of really good east coast surf films. I own East Side Theory(my ex gf bought) and was not impressed. Some good travel surf, but didn't seem to showcase NY surfing really other than at the beginning and the very end.

Saw the premier at HOB as well. Loved the movie, great to see local guys as well as some friends on the big screen. I have a copy and would highly recommend getting yourself one as well. Dean
i saw it and would give it two thumbs up. like said before, made me proud to surf NJ, at it's best and worst times.
def a super awesome movie. put together very well with mindblowing surf. I bought a copy at the LBI premier and watched it again the next day. great movie to get pumped up to go surf on
I saw the premiere at HOB......the way they had the sound cranked up was great, good HD quality..............though the scenes covering Bill could have been better. the Dean Randazzo scene was great, with Atlantic City by Springsteen in the background, very fitting. I ended up buying a copy at the showing, for 20$ got the dvd and a movie poster signed by all the guys, Gesler, Hammer, DePhillipo.
wait which one is DePhillipo and which one is Gesler. Dephillipo has the longer hair right? he was super nice at the LBI premier and talked with all the guys there
Missed the premiers due to work but the trailer looks sick .So the will be added to the collection of DVDS and VHS tapes I have . Alot of the best local talent in nj is in the movie Rob Kelly kills it in the movie really and it a really cool guy if you ever get the chance to talk to him too
went to the HOB for the premier, got trashed, moshed, came out deaf and bloody, great night...did i mention its an awesome movie?
Where can I get a copy of dark fall? I stopped by a few shops and no one seems to have it yet. I would like to get a copy since I missed the premeire.
