I'm going to Puerto Rico over Winter break, and i keep on hearing how you can get a rountrip flight for around $300, but when ever i search for prices i only find $500 prices. Anyone know the best/cheapest way of getting to Rincon or Northwest Puerto Rico? gracias

Remember anything near or around the holidays is going to be more expensive. Search dates mid week, tue - thur sometimes they are cheaper. Try flying out of a major hub. i.e. Jet Blue flies direct form JFK New York to Aqaudilla (BQN). Saw some rate today for around $300 and under. Good Luck !

its much cheaper to fly into san juan then just rent a car and drive to rincon. its only like a 2.5 hour drive or so plus then you have a car to get around while youre there. check out charlie rental cars (charliecars.com) they have really cheap prices and are easy to deal with. PM me if you have any questions or anything

i flew from newark, nj to san juan for a little over $200, but that was a while back. I haven't checked recently, but Newark was much cheaper when I went.

philly to NY is only about a 2 hour ride, it's not extremely long but idk if you'd take a taxi, have a friend drive you or w/e with all of the luggage you will have (and assuming your boards).

Not sure about any flights from philly, I haven't seen any but NY could always be an option for you.

def try some other airports...its pretty easy depending on which travel site you use. For example, when I went to costa, I bought 1 way ticket there (wasn't sure when I was coming back) and it was over 350 out of philly, but like $170 out of dulles so I had a friend give me a ride down.

I booked a flight from newark to aguadilla leaving Jan 1st and I'm paying $415 round trip taxes and fees included, except board fees. Which I thought was kinda steep. When I was booking it, the flights in late January were half the price.

Join the Spirit $9 fair club then check out Atlantic City to Aguadia. Spirit will email you specials and if you check them every day you can find fligts to florida for like $30. Don't be afraid to book a flight to Orlando/Fort Lauderdale and then from there to PR. You will have to stop over in Fort Lauderdale or Orlando anyway.
