stuff is super high tech. Stretchy yet adheres really well. Apparently one company has the patent and the industry by the balls. All the wetsuit manufacturers buy it from them for their products.

yeah I left my suit in my car when I was at work all covered up in a towel . The windows were down but since then a cpl of the ends of the tape were coming up so I was just gonna buy the tape and replace it myself

    wetsuits...

    Yo Bro Matt

Usually your local Dive Shop will have all you need to fix your suit... although if you’re looking for the new "liquid tape" seams/seals- I have no clue where to get that stuff...

Here is what I have learned from years of repairing wetsuits- if it’s your winter suit- its better just to buy a new one! lol or send it into the company for repair- Ripcurl is really good with that- usually free! Or ...better yet.... talk to your inside connection!

Dive Shops usually sell the tape in a pack with other assorted wetsuit patches. Then you apply them with an iron- which in my view and experience defeats the purpose- ruining the wetsuit - all that direct heat... BUT they do sell this stuff in Dive Shops called Trident- it’s like wetsuit contact cement- it works wonders! You could apply the tape with the Trident- or better yet find an old wetsuit glove -cut a piece off that and glue it into your wetsuit.

From what you described tho- I would but the Trident glue (or anything similar - Wetseal ect...) and actually just seal and glue the old tape that was peeling off back into place- it will work better and far more effective... and hopefully no rash’s...

yeah I found a roll of it for 1.95 and the heat barrier of 50 cents online

So I just ordered the stuff and it will be here in 2 days probally and it will be fixed by weekend

I was just gonna put some oneil wetsuit repair glue on the tape and put it back in place but I was worried that it my make things worse

    Foamorder.com

Hey Matt, I ordered some wetsuit seam tape from the above website for a few bucks. I haven't tried it yet, but I plan on putting it on my hyperflexx flow 4/3 exterior seams to help keep em tight. Hyperflex was great about sending me a new suit under my older warranty, but the chest panel exterior seams looked like they were starting to separate after one year on the original suit, so I wanna get ahead of it this year.

Mc nett makes a product called seal cement, I pick some up a year ago at K coast in MD.. Came in 4 oz container, like a plumbers glue, just brush it on and it works well, cost me 8.95
