I was knocking around the chesapeake va location at lunch time and was IMPRESSED. here is what I saw: 6'10 x 18 1/2 john carper hawaiin gun (like new) - $240 SICKKK but what the F**k is that doing in va?hahaha 6'3 retro twin fish by gfg (good shape) - also $240 5'10 hotline gourney squash ( a little beat, but still sick) $200 some funboards and crap. also saw some xcel infinities and psycho 2's in there. Im about to become captain second hand....

Play it again! Not a bad spot for snowboarding gear either...got my first board/bindings/boots for 150 total back in my broke-a** college days.
I also wear a large so I was looking... they had a large 4/3, it was $160. Looked legit, no tears and the seams looked good. Im not sure how the place works, but i might try some yard sale tactics and offer him like 82.50 for that gfg fish.
leethestud, by all means try to negotiate...if on consignment they may not be able to do a whole lot, but if they own it then yes...on one of mine, they knocked off $25.00.
I've done alot fo trading with Play is Again. Especially all the sport stuff my daughter cant fit into now. They will negotiate price a little. Last fall a saw a nice 9ft single fin but with alot of damage on the nose. Very fixable though. $100. Now I wish I'd picked it. this is a great to look there 'cause people are ditching their summer gear to get ready for Xmas and snowboarding. Glad to hear alot of PAS stores are sellling surf equipment.
