You look at the forecast and 2 hours away it's almost knee high and you're actually thinking of driving there!

It was about knee/thigh today with occ waist if you wanted to wait every 20 minutes. It was reading over 4 ft but low 5 sec intervals. Not great, but ok if you wanted to get wet. I guess it's better to get a few small ones than only go when it's chest or higher. I wouldn't get in the water much around here if I waited for chest or higher. I'm just trying to get better and will go even at knee high.

yeah man im the same way, id rather paddle out and get some little knee high waves then not go out at all. plus i think you learn a lot from surfing small waves and you really appreciate it much more when it gets big. i have a lot of fun on the small days, if you have the right board for the conditions then you can have just as much fun

I am driving 5 hours to surf some waist high warm water. Oh wait, that is just a bonus, headed to see Agent Orange!

LOL. Yeah, I need to change that screen name. I created it when I started surfing. It sounds like a freakin personal ad name, lol.
