I just pulled the trigger on a Rusty Piranha (6'2" - Surftech Tuflite) board from WhiskeyMilitia.com for $350 :D . It was a sick deal that I couldn't pass up even though I know some Epoxy boards or TLs can be a little different and or sketchy...

Does any know or have experience with this board? I've read and heard good things about it, but wanted to get some takes from the forum..

    Thanks!

I have a 6-8 piranha poly that was handshaped by Rusty himself. The board is a blast to ride--it loves to turn. My only beef with the board is that it was glassed light and has picked up a few really cool custom dings over its life time.

You should have fun with it and hopefully the epoxy construction will keep yours looking newer and less beat up than mine.

Ha.. Its very true that they always do have a $hitload of Goggles and Skiiny Jeans up... In fact, guess what? Dragon Goggles are up right now!

I selected the Freight (Business) Shipping Method, which is for free, but forgot to change it from my home address to the business address I want it shipped to... I'm trying to straighten that out, as I don't know if that will cause an issue. Anywhow, if you shipped this board residential it cost 99 Bones. I thought I've seen cheaper shipping costs for boards in the past, so I'm not sure about the $10? I doubt its that low.

I ordered a Rusty Pro Ject off of there a couple months ago, and I was in the same spot. I didn't really want the board to go to my office, because I'm not too sure how management would like that. So i just put my address (an apartment building at the time) as the business address and they delivered it there no problem.

Had a 5'8 Pirranha quad a while back rode the fire out of it till it was beat and left it in Costa Rica... awesome price & good board choice! If you like rocket fish (my favorite type of board) or have never ridden that style of board you will love it.

i bought the 6'0 version of the rusty piranha turflite from a guy off this site last year , and its a good board it floats and paddles really really well and its is really durable , the Issues i have with it is floats to well you cant really dig in the rails all all you just slide across the face and i weight about 190 pds so its not and issue of being over boarded , and when you take off on anything over head high your basically air dropping every wave , the nose just get air under it and you cant really keep it down. other then that its been a great board not sure i will buy another tuflite but i do enjoy the board it just doesnt really fit my style
