Cheap flights to CA right now. "Supposedly" we are going to be TOH two days from now and stay solid through the weekend. Its probably over hyped as usual, but the swell reading asre jumping around between 14-20 feet for the next five days.... the directions look good and every reef point down here should be pumping.... we shall see. stay tuned.

GD! Do you see the size of that system comming down from Alaska! Just called my bro in Santa Cruz.... Good to Epic right now all thru the week! Buoys14ft @21 seconds. More comming! Hardly any winds!

Big ass surf on all the surfline central california web cams!

He said California never gets winds and when they do they are very predictable. He said surfline and swellinfo are right on target all the time for the west coast.

Nice point breaks with nice calm channels to padle out or get out of the work zone. Minimal duck diving. Very few closeouts.

Yes, my big wave spot of choice sets up well for this swell. It has a 30 foot deep channel next to the reef. You get on HUGE days with Dry hair. You only suck dive if a monster set hits or if you fall in the impact zone. But the air temp is 85 down here for the next week. Not a cloud in the sky. zero wind.

I just heard on the Radio that They are holding the Big Wave International Championship in Oregon today and tomorrow. They said that this afternoon, the spot they are at in Oregon is going to have 60 foot faces.... INSANE....

It wont hit that big down here cause the difraction and the angle, but we are due for a much more manageable DOH-TOH conditions. They say mostly 8-10 foot sets, with random sets 10 feet larger. You will have to know where to go, but there are tons of playgrounds ready.
