I'm really Skiny bro I want to be able to surf all year round I'm as panzy in the cold right now im wearing a 4/3 mutant 3m boots 3 mil gloves and im freezing my ass off I dont think a 5/4 would be good enough but what are your thoughts this is my first winter
Well first thing you need to get is 5mil boots and 7mil gloves for the rest of the winter. Alot of guys out here started using hyperflex . I was out new years day in OCNJ in my 5/4/3 flow for about 4 hours . I think the 6/5/4 is about $269 if you really wanna go that thick but I think the 5/4/3 will be more than enough for NJ winters
Yeah I got 6/4 Boots and 6mil seamless mits Im talking about Im freezing now like these past 3 days of this swell other guys were out with no boots or gloves and 3/2's lol today i caught maybe 5 waves and left way to cold
im a super skinny guy and need to be warm to stay in the water in the winter. just purchased a 6/5/4 hyperflex flow. have worn it the last 2 days hood pulled back with 5mm boots and gloves and have been toasty. purchased a LL and it fits the same as my rip curl LL. a little tougher to paddle in but definitely worth the warmth. spent $240 with free shipping online
Yeah New years day was the oldest day in CMC last year air was in the teens with the wind lots of guys last 2 hours tops
