I'm sitting at work waiting to get off at 3 and the waves look super fun. Anybody think there will be some fun leftovers this evening with the way the wind is howling?

At low this morning it looked kinda dumpy and really shallow. I'm just hoping that this wind doesn't make it knee high in a few hours.
I have been watching my buddies in front of the hotel Where I'm a barkeeper getting some really fun looking surf

Do you think it might hold til tomorrow am or is the wind going to flatten it out overnight? Stuck at work til past dark and missed it this am.

It was really fun in Monmouth County from 12 - 1:30. Chest High with some occasional shoulder high. Clean and Barreling. The wind is really strong and sometimes holding the wave up too long causing it to dump in shallow water. It's definitely fun. Just pick the right spot. You just have to take some drops blindly with the wind shooting water in your eyes.

surfed late morning off a jetty in moco. 3-4+. super fun connecting off the rocks to the inside bowl. some barrel. just plain fun session.

if the tide doesnt kill it, from the looks there will be swell post 3pm.

i was expecting 30 mph offshore...honestly (maybe its the buildings) in the OC lineup from 2-4 p.m. it was no more than 10-15.

No it's called the weather. Wind is the most predictable aspect of weather and it was supposed to subside all day...
