    that recovery on the first wave was one of the most incredible things i ever seen. had to rewind it a few times.

    Shipstern Bluff is so ridiculously heavy...You gotta have a serious set on you to even consider dropping in on a monster like that

    amazing how the bar keeps getting raised each year. it's not "slight increments" either, just more guys charging all over the world. i'll stick to 6-8 ft and perfect, but it's sure fun to watch!

    that wave at "the right" in western austrialia was so ridiculous. it looked like the entire ocean was being dumped over that guy

    I think this is what OP was reffering to, but just to reiterate... do these guys that wipeout normally survive? if so, what sort of damage do they incur?
