honestly sometimes ppl hate for no reason but the spot dropping needs to stop. and i know ppl will say its already crowded so it doesnt matter. but saying spots again will make it worse.
Now the beach is replenished tho so u gotta find somewhere else to go. its real easy to find uncrowded sick waves cause ppl think the only good spot is the one with hundreds ppl out dropin in on each other

 

I'm a novice to surfing in general, only been at it for maybe 4 years now, and 100% a novice to this forum. So take what I say with a grain of salt I guess.
But the OP might have been a bit out of line, I dunno, I wouldn't have said so, isn't that what this forum is for is to ask questions like that? But what's with this sort of ridiculous hostility towards people that can't surf every day? I'd love to if I could, but I live 3 hours from the shore! Excuuuuuuuuse me!!!! Why not help a brother out? We all wanna surf, and it's not like the water is crowded in the winter. It's just a really weak attitude in my opinion, everyones gotta learn stuff sometime, and elitist and snobby attitudes really aren't accommodating to the learning process. I'm sure I'll catch heat for this, I don't really care, I don't check this forum very often and would completely ignore you if you gave me **** for getting in your "local spot". It's just really ridiculous. It's just water, just waves, and just surfing! It's just supposed to be fun not all exclusive and ****. But like I said, I've only been at this for 4 years, maybe eventually I'll stop having fun and start being a ****, but for now I think I've retained a level of innocent sanity.

I'm local and mad because someone is gonna blow out the names of my two secret spots on the internets.....Northside and 48th street....hahahaha. Go find something legitimate to focus on, and keep trying to convince yourself you're "local".

 

Exactly.....every NSP (nasty sick pro) and BIC shredder from ocean city to Ohio know about these spots.
