Call paypal ASAP, you may be able to return the funds if he has it in the account still. Better act sooner than later, also get his info from them and track the sucker down. He's just a low down dirty slut for taking your money

 

Your welcome, if there is one thing to learn it is to never deal with people over the internet unless you are sure they actually have the product. You should always want to meet in person for surf related stuff anyways. For all you know ChrisD may be a Nigerian local

A friend just told me he had emailed him saying he was staying at solo bueno hotel or hostel in guenasta nosara. He was in tamarindo. He said he is staying for another month, and that he has started taking pics of people surfing and emailing it to them for money or something.

 

want to really f**k with him? if you know what the D is in chrisD... become chrisD for a phone call and call the costa rican embassy and tell them that he is down there with your stolen passport. They are SUPER tight on illegal immigration. HUm, maybe we should be too............

 

Sorry to hear this. I hope you can get your money back from Paypal. Thought that the idea of Paypal was to safeguard the buyer from scams like this. Please keep us posted on the results. A friend of mine had a similar situation from a well known shaper in Hawaii last month. Fortunately he did recieve the board after the dirt ball came back from a vacation. He didn't live up to the deal and but it only cost my friend an extra for the frieght over the quoted amount. Good luck and enjoy the Holidays as best you can.

 

For whatever's worth, I have bought and traded a few boards with him, I believe he lives in bethany and never had a problem with him.
He comes to El Dorado every now and then, and I really can't believe he's the one doing this.
