My family is going on a trip up north during the summer most likely in August.
Right now I'm looking at Rye Beach/Jenness Beach in NH. From what I understand they are the same beach.
We're beginner surfers, but if it gets big we are better at bodyboarding and we'll do that.

Also looking at Cape Cod, but with the always changing sand bars it's difficult to bank on it being rideable.

Any suggestions or advice for a beach to check out would be appreciated.
I know that Summer is not a great time for surfing, but if you know of any good spots it'd be great

I usually surf the wall in hampton NH, close to Jenness beach. Fairly consistent, may be able to time your trip with some hurricane swell if you are lucky. If that is the case you will have some fun.

somuchsurf is right. i would surf the wall, but make sure its low tide. you could check out rye beach but its a very local spot and its all rock bottom and if you ride in to far in the center of the break you'll break some fins.
