Maybe it's true.....maybe not but i'm goin to this guys place the night said apocolypse of the earth, to sail away in a bottle before sailing away in a 500 ft. tidal wave...or maybe a comet?
We have not scheduled a "Commission" meeting since July's AFC so apparently their has been changes as you pointed out all though USFWS still has funds available for selective samplings. Thanks for your service in the best interest of wildlife
I'm glad someone posted the map with all the mass animal deaths around the world. This is a much bigger issue than we can imagine. The news doesn't seem to care or say anything about it but this is serious. Animals are way more prone to feeling environmental issues earlier than we are. We'll just all get a new cancer and wonder why. As some on here have said, "who cares", that's fine and yeah it'll probably fade away unless it becomes too widespread to ignore, but eventually we'll feel the effects of whatever is going on also. que the "debbie downer" music from SNL. HA!
magnetic poles shifting ? http://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/2689/are-the-earths-magnetic-poles-shifting
Assuming these aliens aren't divine creatures and still have "earthly" features like humans such as sensual input, they would still be subject to a similar, if not the same, system of logic as we are. I don't know any aliens or anything but however far an alien race may have developed its system of science, it would still be governed by logic because these rules of validity seem to me universal.
Aliens Read a few articles about the birds and fish mysteriously dropping dead. Heard a few theories that they all had hit some sort of alien craft force field. The articles I was reading were all about New Year's Eve, though. And the mysterious deaths were not confined to just the US and the gulf stream. There were many accounts from across the world of birds dropping dead just after the stroke of midnight. I've got a short story of a first hand account....not of the birds, but of a strange craft I saw... I was on the Big Island of HI for New Year's. We were lighting those incredibly long and loud firecrackers at midnight just like everyone else does in HI. The view from my aunties house is pretty awesome and I could see the night sky as clear as anywhere I'd ever been and could also see the horizon as well. Shortly after the stroke of midnight, I looked to the skies for fireworks but noticed something out of the corner of my eye. It was bright orange, somewhat large for something flying in the sky, and it was moving very fast. So my first thought was, maybe this is some sort of awesome firework or maybe someone letting off a chinese lantern (which a lot of people do on new years). I continued to watch. The bright orange light continued upward but kind of started to veer east from where I was standing. It would stop and just float in the sky for a brief period as well. I was hypnotized by it. I kept expecting something to happen. I kept watching the light ascend until my eyes could no longer see it. It went up and never stopped. It's my only real account of a UFO. But I still didn't believe myself so about a week later I decided to youtube "UFO new years." I found hundreds of videos from not just the big island, but from all over the world of the same thing that I had witnessed. It made no sense to me as the time difference is pretty large from hawaii to anywhere else, but yet all of the accounts took place right around midnight. You can search it for yourself and watch some vids. None of the videos come close to how it looked in real life but at least you can get an idea of what it was. So I kept digging deeper and found all of these articles about the birds and the fish dropping dead. If the articles are true, and the accounts of birds dropping dead shortly after midnight legitimate, I'm going aliens fellas. Did anyone else happen to catch the UFO's on new years?
OMFG, STOP THE INTERNETS! seriously guys, its obvious this is the beginning of the end, the mayans were right. 2012, end of the world.
Ok so....everyone claims that since the mayan calander stops at 2012, we're all going to die. Everyone also believed that Y2K was going to be the end of all our technology and all that crap. How do we know that the mayans just didn't have a chance to finish the calander, OR how do we know if they basically said "screw this, we don't need to plan thousands of years in the future. That ****'s too far away..."
haha. never seen the aliens, although very intoxicated, me and like 8 people were on the cliffs in the middle of the night, and the navy did test runs of those jets that convert to a hovering system. The engine turn upside down and the aircraft just levitates like a helicopter. We all witnessed this happen like 2 miles off shore one night, and the planes were going at least 2-300 MPH off of North Island and they just slowed down and came to a dead stop in mid air... A few weeks later, the same thing happened in texas, and one day later, the government released a tech sheet on the aircrafts that they were testing. Like 5000 people in texas saw the same thing. These planes going incredibly fast and then haulting in mid air above them. But there was a perfectly good explanation. And even though we were wasted, we all saw the same thing. The more likely thing than aliens if it were related was a story I read about long range military weapons. One of which was some sort of long range audio blast. Some said that this could have been the case. They mapped out open air space free of plane traffic and let something rip, and the birds were all nailed.... Although that is pretty space aged, it makes a little sense.
While Russia is doing test runs of a stealth bomber (a model that is about 20 years outdated) and taking snap shots of it, i'm sure the good old boys of the U.S. military are concocting some pretty ridiculous weaponry. Its like comm-blasts on crack.
if the mass die-off was caused by chemicals or even "aliens"(haha), why was it ONLY Red-winged Blackbirds? there are hundreds of species of birds in that area but only one species was affected? Too bad it wasnt humans that died, i like birds a lot more than i like any of you idiots. if 2012 is the end of the world it cant come fast enough
I would suggest you Google the term "dispersant" . The majority of the oil(hydrocarbons) have been broken down into smaller constituent parts by a toxic chemical. That means that the oil from the BP spill is still contained within the Gulf. This concept isn't a left wing conspiracy, just simple chemistry.. As for the mass birds deaths; this scenario happens more frequently than the majority of the public is aware of. I personally haven't seen any association between the Gulf pollution and the current deaths in AR. It is more likely many factors including pollution or a pathogen which contributed to the mass deaths.
Aliens Ya I'd agree that they will still be governed by logic, I'm just saying you don't have to buy into it as the true answer may not seem logical. At any rate, I say "blame the aliens" out of simplicity as the true cause may not be clear cut and it's easy to blame what we don't understand. There have been a multitude of reasonings posted here, the Mayan calendar, chemicals from the BP oil spill cleanup, government testing new weapons, poles shifting, etc (all of which can be framed in a logical way, except maybe the Mayan thing). Apparently though, these mass die offs are not that uncommon and can occur quite frequently, and this makes sense when you consider that animal populations are more susceptible to environmental stresses than us humans who can just fire up the furnace. So I say "blame the aliens" in jest, but really just suspect the weather to be the main culprit. It is winter after all....
