remember those colorful watches (flinstones or bart simpson) that you'd get as a prize in the cereal box?

someone had a genious plan. they took those watches, removed the actual watch and replaced it with a shiny plastic that makes you magically better at whatever sport you practice and theyre charging $30 (except if you get it off ebay or 5below where you can find it for $1) for it and people are actually buying it!

please tell me none of you actually believe in that shieet

This kid that works for me said he did a test on those things and basically disproved the whole theory. They also put it on like 3 different people at the restaurant and had them do all these things, with no difference in the results.

Im not sure what the idea behind it is. Balance. It says it gives off "energy waves". I mean, the thing looks like a watch battery...

Maybe i just dont get it. But from all I have been told, they have zero value.

I would like to hear some first hand knowledge. We had a girl tell us it worked, which is why everyone started researching it and proving to her it was bogus.

the reason i dont believe it was because one of our soccer coaches in high school was a mental guatemalan dude who was really into this good/bad energy crap. one day at soccer camp some ppl got sick from eating the eggs and he told us that the people who prepared breakfast were in a bad mood, therefore filling our breakfast with "bad energy"

another time, at the diner, he told us we get "bad energy" from sweet and low. then he made one kid try to balance while holding the sweet and low in his hand, then again without the sweet n low and the kid balanced better without it. obv didnt believe him cuz i knew it was like the placebo effect

when i saw power balance, figured it was the same exact story. maurice jones-drew once said "when you go out on the field, you have to believe in your mind that you are the best, 'cause if you dont, no one will". people will surf better wearing power balance wrist bands if they truly believe that it is helping them

i think is just a fashion trent that goes threw all sports. even like baseball with phiten neclaces. They didnt work either. if anything its just a mind trick to get you to focus on balancing and then when ur focused u balance better but you dont ned a bracelt or necklace to do that.

what has this world come to.. ppl have to "test" to disprove that a band that is made out of plastic and or medal can prevent you from falling off a surfboard?

i guess if someones dumb enough to wear one of these BS bands theyre forced to surf at their best in order to avoid looking like a complete dumba$$

I think they work really well when you use them with a baby wipe necktie - if you wear both then your results will be amaazing

wow... imagine being able to sell a product that costs .15 cents to build, at 100 times the price, and doesn't work. That dude has some marketing skills...
