never been to the "real" jersey shore, I stick to home mostly, but SERIOUSLY all the tourists who visit DE are just like those cats on Jersey Shore. Try to go to a bar or anywhere basically, and if you're not one of those "juiced up gorillas" then you WILL NOT have very much fun at all.

My gf watches the show and I love to hate all of them.

 

For as many people who say they hate / don't watch the show, there are a lot of peeps with a lot of info on here! HA HA HA You dirty little hamsters!

 

Man... You guys are crazy. That show is awesome. Its so funny to see how these guidos and guidettes act. And the fact that they think their some kinda "celebrity" only makes it better. They completely over react to any situation, and basically make asses out of them selves on national tv. Whats not to love about it?

And for the record... J Wow is hot, for sure the hottest on the show. But I would go to town on any of the girls on that show... Even Snookie or the new girl if i was drunk enough. I wouldn't dare keep them around for more than 1 night though...

For 30k per episode I think most people would/could easily relax their morals/standards, devote a lot of time to working abs, overreact to anything and everything for the purpose of a plot generation (as there is none otherwise), and essentially act like a fool in public. I'm not defending it or saying this type of entertainment is justified but it obviously has enough of an audience that the cast all got a big raise from MTV to keep the sleazeside crew happy. So go on, GTL....

someone else already said they would go to town on snookie if they were drunk enough, and thats how i feel. i would have to be drunk, or spiked with a roofie to go near that. and i don't even drink at all so the chances of that are out the window. i can't stand this show. never watched it, but this stuff doesn't appeal to me. i'm turning 40 next week, and even if i was 20 i couldn't get into this. it's also causing a resurgence of guidos everywhere. you only saw a handful of guidos every year between 96, and 09 until this show came about. now they're all over the place. the only reason i know about them is they seem to make their way onto all kinds of talk shows, and in the news. aside from snookie i don't know their names. i know j wow, and i thought she looked better than snookie, but honestly i don't even remember what she looked like, and wouldn't know her if i saw her. i know there is a paulie, and vinny, and the situation, but i wouldn't even know those guys by face. they all look the same to me. i love all the seaside cops for security they got outside the house during filming when they are staying there.

 

True story: I went to high school with Deana; she graduated a year below me. What I remember of her: lots of make up to where you can see the line of where it stops on her neck.

 

the sad part is, there are girls who live in new jersey that actually aspire to be like them
