I hate to be negative but a thread like is doing the same thing to craiglist bargain hunters like myself that online surf reports did to surfing. They make it too easy for lazy people to get the goods instead of investing the time to look or not look for themselves.

or it will help consolidate meaningless "Wetsuit for sale" threads. So if that person puts it up on craigslist and would normally come here and post a new thread for it, hopefully, they will put it here.

But I see what you mean. This thread will reduce the chances of scoring a nice board that could have previously been flown in under the radar...

Yeah there is definately a positive, I mean look at me reading it :D. But it would be harder to find a score like Mitchells if people are scouring craiglist to make points on an internet forum. I'm not above calling a buddy when I see a good deal, I just don't see the point of alerting the entire tri-state area of a deal.

i seriously doubt that this thread will contribute to the creation of a voracious used board market. There's all of ten or so boards listed here, when any of the search engines can query a list of a hundred or so. If your timing is right you will score. This thread is really meant for some on here to list their boards for sale or to list someone else's to spark conversation.

I know what your saying, but i very much doubt that this thread will attract so called lazy folks. I mean whats the point of your pc then?

He gets them at auctions and sells them. Only a couple of the boards are actually a $100, the vintage boards are pretty pricey. The last time i talked to him, that Velzy pop-out from the 60's was around $400, so don't get your hopes up if you think its $100 haha.

Not really for a pop-out, it was made by Dextra. Not a big market for them, but for someone that really wants one i guess $400 would be a good price. He had a Noll Duke Noserider that was sick though.
