I haven't seen a forecast that positive in a long time for this area. It may be a tad overcalled but for my low standards clean and shoulder high + on a weekend is borderline epic.

The only reason why I don't surf in the winter is because I don't have money to buy all the gear. Plus I don't drive -_-

Finally a good long swell peroid into the weekend.

Unfortunetly, here in Delaware we expect a huige crowd, I hope the forcast holds, there should be plenty of places to surf with swell and tides, but the good breaks will be crowded, I expect to get my share of waves though, I am baddly needing a good surf session to cure my surfitus, I was only able to score some choppy surf over the past month, I am looking to shed it up Yeah Baby! :D

There are plenty of ways to acquire used or inexpensive surf gear. You are sorely missing out on great waves. At least ther will be one less surfer in the water.

I beleive I have a pair of 5mm Rip Curl booties size 9 if you are interested, I may have gloves too, just pay for shipping, then all you need is a 4/3 or 5/3mm to get by.

If anyone needs any gear hit me up... I get everything from the body glove website 25% off. Body Glove has some sick wetsuits from 3/2s to 5/4/3s. I have a sick 5/4/3 that I have been using all winter. So if anyone needs anything just tell me.

Well I was a May thru November surfer for years until tomorrow. I finally couldnt take it anymore missing 3 months or so every year so I bought an Oneill Mutant last weekend been wating on swell and here it is. Granted I think Surflines forecast for VB is more realistic though, they are calling waist to chest with fair condtiions. Swellinfo's forecast is calling for head high surf so there is a bit of difference in forecast but i dont care im paddling out tomorrow, havent surfed since mid november and have been loosing my mind!

    hey gaiz!

i was wondering, i usually rock my 5/3 during august, but thats mostly cause i dont like august and its dwindling temps. do you think ill be fine in my spring suit tomorrow. temps say its going to be warmish and ive been hibernating ALL WINTER LONG. that extra fat should be fine right?!?! i usually go to crowded spots to show off my moves and paddle right to the point to let everyone know who's the boss. most of the times though, i start paddling on the first wave of each set, when im in position, and have to yell at people to watch it. i obviously never take it because the 2nd wave is better, but that extra paddling is a perfect warmup for wave #2. i think i might just spring suit it tomorrow no matter what you gaiz say, mostly because im better than you anyway. i havent surfed since summer and ill own you all. my ocean, my skillz, my waves. BOOM
