i need to grab a new suit, and I'm thinking of getting a 3/2. I plan on getting out in the water beginning of april. I know it might be a little too cold, but I don't want to get a 5/4 because i'd only use for about a month and keep it away until dec

would it still be best to get a 5/4? or maybe a 3/2 or 4/3 with a separate hood? i understand the water temps in low 40s in NJ atm

ENOUGH WITH THE RIDICULOUS WETSUIT QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the water is still frigid! no 3/2's until Mid may (thats generous for NJ)

too cold for a 3/2 in NJ. I wouldn't even consider trying to go out in a 3/2 with water in the low 40's. 4/3 with removable hood or get the 3/2 and get a poly fleece hooded vest. Might get you an hour out there or so... if the 3/2 is quality.

As mentioned, I don't bust my 3/2 out until mid-late May. You could definitely do April with the 4/3 though if you have enough body fat. :D
