    is that a stationary wave? if it were then you couldnt be recorded as surfing a distance, just a time

    The fact he is 13 time national surfing champ is even worse. He may be a good surfer, but this kind of publicity wreaks of cheesy gimmick.

    The video is pretty crap along with the Hasselhoff wannabe singer.

    Not really sure how they justify what he was doing in the vid as surfing.

    +1 for standing up very, very long.
    -1000 for calling it surfing.

    Might as well have just gone to wolf lodge and played on the flowrider wave simulator for 4 hours.

    Yeah, the hardest part was standing that long. Not very fun.

    If I were going to ride a wave for 41 miles I would at least have brought out a long board so I could chill out and relax on that long boring ride. Instead he used a short board that probably made riding that waves for so long twice the effort it needed to be. Anyway, I'm not gonna hate too much because that is a long time to ride a wave, man-made nonetheless, but still an achievement.
