I was eyeing up a 6'2 Natures Shapes rocket quad at the my local shop on LI and was really diggin it. Its basically a copy of a ...Lost Rocket. Anybody surf one of these or dealt with a Natures Shape board before? thanks
I heard they are not the same but I have never seen one . You might wanna check out NYNJSURF.com there are a cpl guys over there that are very knowledged in NS
I have a natures shapes mini hp1, 5 fin set up, the board is awesome. Monte and Mike are both awesome to deal with. I have been looking at another board from them maybe a q82 or some other fish as well, just need some money. I definitely recommend them. The customer service in that shop alone sets it apart from some others ive been to on the island.
I've got a 6'1" redux (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8i8sU9WVKoQ&feature=related) Has a lot of volume and is a great everyday board. Great guys to deal with.
Redux Mike over at Nature's Shapes makes a great board. He is a really talented shaper and has a knack for making a board that turns on a dime. It all depends on what you want, the Redux is a nice transition from the normal potato chip shortboard if you want that extra float. The Q82 is one of my favorites as it really has that extra volume and wants to go super fast. The shop is stocked with multiple sized models of each, or you can have him shape you whatever you want with art/color. Your board is only limited by your imagination at Nature's Shapes.
Redux rocks Mike Becker makes amazing boards. Picked up a 5'10 epoxy redux and its absolutely amazing. Since picking it up my other short boards just sit and collect dust. The epoxy is lightweight realllllyy strong on the deck but still really lively. Definitely going to get several years out of this one.
