i am confused. are the track and dates backward? http://www.swellinfo.com/tropical/hw3.php?forecast=tropinvesttrack&eventnum=93®ion=NT&year=2011

The storm is moving west. The purple track shows where the storm has been. There is no official forecast track on the Swellinfo map for Invests, but you can view the computer model forecasts by selected in the top right drop down menu:
There's actually a low in the Caribbean below Haiti right now that is better candidate. Hasn't shown up yet in the Swellinfo maps.
i don't remember invest category storms forming this early in the year. i'm only going on memory. Am i making an accurate assumption if i say that this is an unusually early storm for this time of year?
I can remember plenty of years we've had Tropical Storms in June or earlier. 2007 and 2008 we had one in May http://www.wunderground.com/hurricane/at2007.asp http://www.wunderground.com/hurricane/at2008.asp 2006 we had one in June http://www.wunderground.com/hurricane/at2006.asp 2005 we had 2 in June http://www.wunderground.com/hurricane/at2005.asp 2003 we had one in April and May http://www.wunderground.com/hurricane/at2003.asp
interesting, TWC is already ramping up the hurricane season as i type this post. rdj i wonder how the east coast hurricane season did for us surfers in those years. despite the fact that weather patterns are always unpredictable i still hope/wonder if this is predicting a good hurricane season for us surfers.
im just a dumb young kid but could this mean waves in the next 2 weeks or so???? This flat spell is killing me and summer classes start in july -__- im trying to get waves everyday until then so i hope this means something!
The north atlantic low in the upper right of this satellite loop is predicted to move back towards us a bit, and probably has more of a shot (but still a real long shot ) of giving us a little ENE background swell, than Invest 94 does. http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/east/nwatl/loop-vis.html
2005 was intense http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005_Atlantic_hurricane_season 2003 was intense http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003_Atlantic_hurricane_season 2005 was katrina, wilma. gilbert... etc 2003 was isabel. here's 2008, we had some pretty good ones i guess http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_Atlantic_hurricane_season also,. 2006 sucked ass (no early anything then) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006_Atlantic_hurricane_season 2004 had one on june first http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_Atlantic_hurricane_season that year we had ivan.. im not gonna go through this anymore, you get the idea. it looks like we might be having a fun summer this year, besides all the damn flat spells between the hurricanes
