Well depending on your budget i would say the most promising, durable, and wide ranging board is an al merrick tuflite.

i have a 6"0 tuflite its amazing strong can go from knee to well over head...but its a little bit pricey but way worth it!

Hey I have a 5'10 lost XTR thats one summer old with practically no dings at all. It is epoxy and handles any wave you can paddle in from head high to below knee. easy to catch waves with to. its like brand new i will sell it for 375

Def go with the Lost board or an Al Merrick Flyer. I got a 6'2 over the winter and it got me into every wave i wanted it to.
