getting this thread back on track, this stretch of no swell has resulted in my ordering new tires for my jeep...this is the first upgrade/mod i'm doing to it (other than getting the stock/mopar siderails & crossbars) since buying it last year. next will be skid plates for transfer case, differential, fuel tank, & oil pan or a trailer hitch.

yeah, I got to replace my tie rod ends...I'm upgrading to the V8 XJ's and getting a new set of rubbers, too...I'm putting a 3.5"-4" suspension lift on my Jeep and running 35's...

nice. i'm just trying to fit it out to be as versatile a daily driver as possible, not turn it into an off-road trail crusher; not sure if i want to put a lift on it or not (if i do, it'll be 1.5"-2"). it's an '08 WK w/ the QT1 & has handled everything i've thrown at it thus far. i'm thinking i may just keep this one for a bit & then sell it & upgrade to something a WK or WK2 w/ QT2. the XJ's are nice, but i want something that's lower mileage as a daily driver.

Stuff gets expensive. In the middle of a 4.5" long arm lift on my wife's TJ. 8 lug axle swap, H2 wheels, 35s, and a building a surf rack for it. My TJ is officially off the road and a trailer queen. Just picked up a set of 40"s for it.

    Anyways, Back on track..
    Flat days =
    Taking the Jeep wheeling somewhere
Working on my rig or the wife's Jeep
Trip to the OBX just to chill watch the idiots at Oregon Inlet bury their $60,000 lifted Superdutys to the frame rails
Summer time, head inland and float the Rapidan River

a 3 inch lift and a nice set off BFG All Terains is more than enough to get you out of anything here in NJ. I wouldnt go bigger than 35's unless you upgrage axles and wheel hubs but you not gonna beat on it so you should have to worry . But you'll notice a drop in fuel economy of coarse. Next spring I might be starting another prodject I am un decided on to buidl another mustang or a Trail truck. I just gotta wait until I get my concrete driveway poured then start looking for something. If I build a truck I might just get a Duece and have the tag axle cut off and bobb the tail and nose and roll like that

If you decide to go trail truck. Hit me up for brackets and stuff. I've got a CNC plasma table in the shop behind the house and I can do all kinds of custom work.

    Swell Alert

Just thought that I'd spread the word theres gonna be some big waves propagating in the Delaware River tonight just outside of Camden, maybe not surfable but definitely rideable. Those who know what I'm talking about know what's up, jamming waves. Can't beat the waves of love when its flat out.

yeah, with gas prices as high as they are, and how high they might get, I'm not going with anything bigger than 35's...I almost feel like it's not even worth lifting it

Jeep Builder...hell of a job, man...
    Sandbar...nice, that's what i call an off-road machine
