    epoxy ding

no need to take it to the "shop". just buy an epoxy ding stick. It has the catalyst and the filler in one piece. Just cut off enough to fill the hole, knead it, push it in and sand it. Marine hardware stores and surf stores should have these. You'll be in the water in about 1/2 hour.

you can fix it your self if your a hands on type of person. Suncure make board repair kits for both epoxy and polyboards. Follow the instructions it simple . There no mixing involved so its fool proof. Just take your time with the prep work and clean the area after you sand it and you repair sould be easy to fix .

Just don't leave the suncure stuff open in the sun for too long. It starts out soft and pasty, then solidifies in the sun to fill the ding. I lost an entire bottle because I forgot to put the cap back on.

with suncure you will be ready to go in 20 minutes. I had a bigger ding professionally repair and they had the board about a week cost me $50. the ding was about 1.5" deep, and 1.5" wide.
