so many angry surfers on here. Its amazing. I live in one of the most crowded surf areas in the world and I rould really care less about crowds. Ive said it before any many others in this thread have elluded to it: If you find yourself surrounded by 150 guys at 48th steret in OC at 1pm on a Sunday in August, you need to re-evlauate your surf scheduling. Everyone that is a local anywhere knows where the crowds are and when... Like the last guy said... Why are you surfing mid-day in the summer if you are so hard core? Shouldnt you be up at sunrise, cracking all the swells before the guards come out.... Tourism boosts your neighborhoods whether you like it or not. So start acting like a real local and know where to be and when. If you are constantly surrounded by kooks, maybe you should take a look in the mirror before yelling at them, because you may in fact be a kook too and not even know it.

I rather it be busy in the summer and deal with crowds in the summer when its knee to waist hight . Cause if it isnt eveyone in town will be on unemployment all winter long when it firing and it will be crowded in the winter lineups

 

i think you should just stop giving a ****. because honestly, this post will change nothing. Just dont be an asshole to them, they wont be assholes to you. i dont hate on non locals unless they're dropping in on me or something. thats when i get pissed. but otherwise, who cares. honestly...
