With another week of flatness, time for another poll. What are some of your favorite surf / bodyboard vids... and why? I used to watch surf movies all the time when I was in school and haven't added to my collection lately. Any suggestions? (no negativity is necessary for this thread)
MIA - Missing In the Atlantic Best east coast bodyboarding video ever... oh wait, it is the only one.
Thread, Sprout, and The Seedling are really good. A great old one to seek out is "The innermost limmits of pure fun". I've mentioned it on here before, it's really a cool old flick. Surfing and Kneeboarding. Bad thing is that I could only find it on VHS.
Got it. Actually won it during the Ernesto photo contest on here. And yes, it is awesome. Another good east coast pic is Through the Looking Glass. Not much shooting variety but the waves are sick.
Sprout and The Seedling are awesome. A little disappointed that there wasn't more surfing in Thread, but I guess for every so many surf movies, you have to have a surf / art movie. There was a cool profile of Jim Denevan on the CBS Sunday Morning show a few months back.
Surf Porn? Surf porn? I like the drive thru's lightning strikes young guns 2 is great - helicopter views
Easy one Anything by ...lost but especially The Decline, Timmy Turner's Second Thoughts is pretty sweet, 5 summer stories.
The Free Way has good music and alright cinematography (sp?). Bunyip Dreaming and All The Way Live always got me pumped before a session. Timmy Turner head cam barrel shots are always sick (ie My Eyes Won't Dry)
I personally joined the hype and thought Trilogy was really good. But my favorite is by far Headfirst. It's got great east coast shots and big wave rides in Todos Santos. And it of course has to have a round of Hawaii also.
