"I am not sure if the darker brown spots are something that was wrong with it during the manufacturing process, but it looks bright and white - almost like the new ones I see at the surfboard stores!" lol...I think what he was trying to say is "It has extensive water damage, but looks brand new" ...too funny. Mahalow...ROFL
My bad, fixed the link. I cant even pick out the best part the whole ad is just ridiculous, and hes selling it for only $625 what a steal!
As long as the skaggs aren't to sharp, I think this is a good deal. My mechanic said I need some stuff done to my car, so after he changes the air in my tires and tops off my blinker fluid, I'm driving up to NYC & scoring on this!
come on this has to be fake "Skaggs: 3 solid skaggs - not too sharp!" "It also has many different stickers on it but they do not come off - looks like they intentionally put them underneath the liquid resin during the manufacturing process. *one of them says "astrodeck" - I wonder of the orginal person for whom this board was shaped for was using the board as a lubricant (get it, "astro[glide]deck"!) heh - heh..." "Keep surfing!!! Mahalow!"
I picked up a 6'2" firewire quad last night off of CL, when I got to the place, the chick was a COMPLETE spacecase!! I thought she was gonna lock the door behind me and try to wear my kidneys for headphones.... but I got a brand new board for damn near nothing.
that's why you don't go to people's houses...always meet in a neutral location that's fairly public. anyway, that ad is def. a classic! i like how it's "new" but he tihnks it was made in either '76 or '77 (but it's a thruster). LMAO!!
