Jers. The whole freaking state rocks. South swell go north of LBI. North Swell go south of LBI. Good winds, ground swell and low tide-stay in the central. Winds may vary. Summer...go to the bar.
There aren't many North or South facing beaches. The cape is facing South... the hook is facing North... Thats about it. The rest face East +- a few degrees.
go to google.com/maps. and you will see there is plenty variability along the jersey coastline. south jersey as a whole is much more south facing and handles the northerly winds better. you get to monmouth county and it starts to go more directly east facing, then the northern stretches of monmouth county face northward a little bit and can handle a SW wind a little better than other areas.
wat about paddlin out anywhere when the winds are coming from the north or south and is there anywhere that works during northeasterly winds or the horrible onshore east winds?
Take a look at the map my friend. An area will be clean if it faces the same direction the wind is blowing towards. So, for north wind, it will be directly offshore if the beach faces directly south. Out of luck for E winds around these parts.
u no the beach names?? cuz i lookd at maps but i cant really tell... thanks for the info though bro's
