Guess I won't be getting another one...
Today I was poking around the internet, trying to find some info on the guy who shaped my longboard (15 years ago).
Sadly, I found this:
JAMES \"JT\" TURNBULL, 50, of the North Shore, died Nov. 24, 2000. He was a surfboard shaper for Country Surfboards on the North Shore for 32 years. Survived by parents, Frank and Helen Turnbull; sister, Cynthia Loveall. Ashes to be scattered 2 p.m. Sunday at Sunset Beach. Potluck gathering to follow at the old Country Surfboards factory across from Sunset Beach.
