The best known and most versatile spot is my home break of sunset beach on treasure island, about half way down you will see the cars when there are waves. If its a cold front and out of the NW, its better up in clearwater, sand key. Another good place is bradenton on the other side of the skyway. Anna maria island. Its usually a foot bigger down there. Well good luck on your hunt. Its hit and miss around here. Your best bet is to moniter melbourne on the east coast and make the drive but we do occasionally get decent waves.
