how is it not "real" ?? It appears to be foam and glass and shaped like a surfboard, even if it was never meant to be used... Great find...
because i think the guarded beach often has a good A-frame bar and it's also the closest to the parking lot and they are too lazy to explore the...
is it just me or does the wave map not agree with the forecast? I'm looking at the winds in the Mid-Atlantic in particular.
I was out on a boat in about 60 feet of water when it hit and didn't feel a damn thing. I don't think anything is going out surfing in 50-70...

Good info, don't forget that they make these things up to 5 megawatts now too, with plans to go to 7.5 mw soon... if they haven't already.

I hated those damn green men, i felt like they didn't tell me anything useful. I like the 3-hour winds! I would prefer hourly though =)
i wonder how/why was it moved to that angle anyway? seems like it happens once or twice a year too...
My sister has a tom-tom, and i have the tom-tom app on my iphone. We both prefer the app on the phone over the unit when we go on road trips.

I dug up the old thread, back when we first noticed a couple of buoy's adrift. Looks like they were different ones....
Is that the same one that went off its anchor chain a while back and drifted all the way down to the Bahamas or some such place?

Sounds like a good plan dude. I just get on a friends boat and sail out a few miles and just wait it out until Tuesday or so.
