I have a couple friends who have houses there. Lot of good surf there without surfing the death defying beach break its most known for.

I've been there and its pretty shocking that this happened there.
Of all the boards my kids had when they were starting out this was the best one. Its held up great and they will still take it out when its crazy...
Having three kids that surf, my advice is to not put them on an oversized board. Get them on a shortboard that is the right size for them right...

Worked in the fishing tackle business and ran charters for 10 years. I only like braid for bottom fishing and vertical jigging in deep water....
Dredging is a funny thing...... Towns like mine the surf actually improves with every beach fill project they do. I look forward to it....
