We get a handful or more of these type of East swells every year, mostly in the Fall or Spring.
okay... ya, there are plenty of gaps and issues with this data, so any upgrade in the actual data is very helpful for us wave modellers.
I"m on it! On a side note. While, there is no true definition for "ground swell", the longer period stuff we get generally has some East in it....
