Backwards Comaptible means that the game was originally for Ps2 but it can also be played on Ps3.
The Xbox 360 and 360 are the same thing if thats what your asking and, you can go online with it if you have an internet connection hooked up to it.
PS3 works better then the 360 and has better graphics, but the 360 has much better games.
Well, im only 17 so im into video games, MW2 is good but i got bored with it after awhile, NHL10 definitely get (supposing you are getting a 360)...
